Q: What is the difference between Sculptra, hyperdilute Radiesse and dermal filler?

Dermal filler is hyaluronic acid. It sits where it is placed, gives structure immediately, and can be dissolved. Sculptra and Radiesse are biostimulators: they do not fill, they prompt your own fibroblasts to lay down new collagen, so the change appears gradually over months and cannot be reversed. Sculptra is poly-L-lactic acid and works over three to six months across a series of sessions. Radiesse is calcium hydroxylapatite, which in its standard form adds structure and, when hyperdiluted, is spread in a thin subdermal layer to improve skin quality rather than shape.

Most of what happens at Lidy Beauty happens with a needle, and most of that is biostimulation. Sculptra and hyperdilute Radiesse do not fill anything — they prompt your own fibroblasts to lay down new collagen, so the change arrives over months and looks like your skin rather than like product.

It is a slower conversation than a syringe of filler and a mirror, and it is the one we would rather have. Filler still has its place for structure, and we use it where structure is genuinely what is missing.

They use different energy and reach different depths. Thermage FLX uses monopolar radiofrequency to heat the dermis broadly in a single session, and is chosen for overall firmness and skin quality with no downtime. Ultherapy uses micro-focused ultrasound at discrete deeper points including the SMAS layer, and does the most for lift along the brow, jawline and neck. EndyMed 3Deep works at shallower depths across a series of four to six sessions. EndyMed Intensif delivers radiofrequency through microneedles, so it treats acne scarring and texture alongside firmness but needs a few days of recovery. If the concern is a softening jawline, Ultherapy. If it is overall firmness in one visit, Thermage FLX. If texture and scarring matter as much as tightening, Intensif.

How much does a treatment cost?

It depends on the area treated and how many sessions you actually need, so we quote at consultation once we have assessed your skin. Consultation is complimentary, and you will have the full cost in writing before anything is booked.

Is laser hair removal safe for darker skin tones?

Yes. Elite iQ reads skin tone before each pulse and combines 755nm and 1064nm wavelengths, which makes it suitable across all Fitzpatrick types. A patch test is performed at the first appointment.

Who performs my treatment?
